The new Optiview fiber modems can be used to transmit both video (BNC) and Data (twisted pair) up to 2 miles. Fiber modems are very popular for long distance runs and serve as a great tool for sites that are prone to lightning and surge. Fiber will also eliminate any video interference when running from building to building with varying ground potentials. Our latest modems are multimode that allow up to 8 cameras and 4 data on a single multimode fiber.
