The MJ-CMD702 features a Sony Super HAD 480 line, CCD sensor providing excellent color reproduction and remarkable sensitivity in zero lux environments. The camera's 24-LED array of infrared illuminators can easily distinguish objects at a distance of 60 feet and beyond.

The camera includes a fixed lens . The aluminum cast structure and IP 66 weather proof rated housing protects the camera during rain, sleet, and snow, while the armor design and crush resistant glass coating deters vandalism and ensures effective surveillance.
