The MJ-8XLA digital video recorder is a Professional Grade Enterprise Class DVR that combines value with powerful H.264 performance. Our MJ-8XLA DVR utilizes Texas Instruments DaVinci™ Technology H.264 hardware compression DSP from Texas Instruments. We install Seagate Enterprise Class HDD's designed specifically for the heavy duty DVR environment.

The MJ-8XLA can push video recording at a CIF resolution on every channel. The USB port allows video and images to be saved to a USB flash drive, external HDD, CD-RW/DVD-RW for simple data transfer. The included CD writer allows for larger files to be copied to a CD-R for later viewing. The network software allows for files to be copied to a PC or server. Remote viewing, playback, configuration, upgrade, reboot, and backup are all standard on the MJ-8XLA.

The embedded web server enables users to perform all these remote function via an Internet Explorer web browser, eliminating the need to install software. Client software is also included for central monitoring and alerts for as many as 16 MJ-8XLA units.

Up to 8 terabytes of storage can be installed in the unit, providing years or recording under proper recording parameters.
