PROTRAK: SCOUT GPS TRACKING/RECORDING SYSTEM The PROTRAK Scout logger is a low-cost GPS recording system that monitors vehicles and cargo for up to 18 days and runs on four AA batteries. Download the data to a computer and print detailed Activity Reports listing vehicle stops by address, distance, speed and daily totals OR download the information to the Mapping Software and REPLAY the route to see where they are driving (and how fast they are driving). You will know if your vehicles are going where they are supposed to go or are stopping at unauthorized places. The Scout is a powerful ally for any business and/or concerned parent. Incudes US map and report generating software - PC. Weatherproof case, external amplified GPS antenna, adjustable data capture data rate and internal motion activator are all standard features.

Recommended components: other than batteries and your PC to download the data, this unit does not require anything else to function.

The Activity Reports, lists every stop over a set number of minutes (you select) and provides a detailed mileage log for tax purposes and service records. When looking for suspicious activities, the Activity Report is a good indicator of when and for how long these activities took place. DATA PLAYBACK: The Playback of tracking data is only available with The Scout and provides detailed tracking information: Displays the route the vehicle took including turns and bends, the location of stops and starts, the time of stops and starts, the speed and direction of the vehicle. This is provided visually on a digital map with street level detail. Playback allows management the opportunity to verify fleet activity and assess liability based upon employee's driving and work habits. Playback allows you to verify suspicious activity and identify where and when it occurred also helps promote safe driving.
